This privacy notice describes the data flows built into the default NetworkTools theme. If the site owner later adds analytics, advertising, newsletters, consent software, embedded media, or other services, this notice should be updated to describe those additions accurately.
Network tool inputs
Some tools work entirely in the browser; others need the website server to make a DNS, HTTP, WHOIS, port, certificate, or similar request on your behalf. A server-backed tool necessarily receives the value you submit so it can perform that check. Do not enter passwords, private configuration backups, account credentials, or confidential internal hostnames.
IP-related information
Like most websites, the server can receive your public IP address as part of an ordinary web request. Some IP/ISP lookup functionality may query a third-party IP-data service using the public IP being looked up. Results such as city or ISP should be treated as approximate rather than precise location data.
External resources
The default theme can load resources from third-party content delivery or font services. Those providers may receive normal request metadata such as IP address and browser headers. If you want a fully self-hosted privacy posture, replace those external assets before launch.
Logs, analytics, cookies, and advertising
Your hosting provider may keep security/access logs. This starter theme does not describe analytics or advertising products you install later. If you add them, update this policy and any consent mechanism required for your audience and jurisdiction.
Contact and corrections
If you add a contact form, explain what information it collects and how long you keep submissions. Never ask visitors to send router passwords or other credentials as part of a correction report.
